Omnia Healthcare Group is seeking a motivated Senior Accountant to join our team to design, implement, and monitor financial systems and protocols as it related to Skilled Nursing Facilities Financials. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations for 2-3 nursing facilities.
• Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of the Month End, Quarter End and year End documentation. Completes year-end tasks including financial statements, tax returns, Medicare and Medicaid cost reports. 
• Participates in preparation of annual operating and capital budgets. 
• Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data. 
• Assists in the preparation of cost reports and financial audits.
• Prepares workpapers required for all Medicare and/or Medicaid Cost Report(s) submissions.
• Ensures all deadlines are met including regulatory, financing and internal reporting.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and PCC preferred.
• Attention to detail and accuracy/proficiency in data entry required.

Education and Experience: 

•  Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting or Finance
• Minimum: 2-4 years related work experience, experience within the nursing homes or healthcare sector preferred

Starting pay is $80,000 annually, based on experience.
